Autotrading

Autotrading is an arrangement between a broker and investor that enables the broker to enter and exit postions on the behalf of the investor.

Autotrading and Options-Intelligence

Members of both the Core Options Trading Strategy and Special Plays Options Trading Strategy can utilize autotrading to autonomously trade these two great services.

Options traders who take part in autotrading should adjust their expectations accordingly. Autotrading positions are exited with tight stops and limits to mitigate the potential for loss to the trader. No automated system can generate the same returns as an individual with the ability to closely monitor his/her own positions.

Autotrading Plans

Each trade recommendation will have follow a specific plan based on the type of strategy in use:

  • Special Plays Options Trading Strategy: Investors have the ability to set a 15% trailing stop if the option position goes up in value 15%. The investor is initially protected on the downside with a 25% stop loss order if the stock option loses value. Investors also have the ability to include a separate sell limit order, if they choose to do so. Options Intelligence may offer additional closing guidance on positions. This guidance would overrule the standard exits for this plan.
  • Core Options Trading Strategy: No sell order would be placed at the time the trade is recommended. Once the stock option begins to move, Options-Intelligence will give further guidance on stop and limit orders to exit the position.

Core Options Trading Strategy plays come with no set stop loss levels. Customers who wish to set stop loss levels with the Core Options Trading Strategy should contact Trade Wall Street Financial and make the appropriate arrangements. All Core Options Trading Strategy members must set limit orders in the 25-50% range to capture gains as they present themselves.
