While the Core Strategy consistently outperforms any other options trading methodology available, in August it does so on a massive scale. This month is our outlier on the positive side of the bell curve producing stellar metrics across the board. The only criticism one could make of August is the overall low number of trades. At 71 total trades since we have recorded our performance, August has considerably fewer data points than some of our other months. Aside from that issue, this month boasts our best winning history and an impressive average yield. Add to that a handful of historically successful winners (some of which we still trade) and an excellent winning history for common returns and we have a rock solid recipe for success.
